Kentucky's Pivot Brewing is for sale. Here's what to know (and how you can make an offer)

Pivot Brewing is on the hunt for new ownership.

The craft brewery and cidery, located locally at 1753 Bardstown Road, announced Monday that its Louisville taproom, Lexington production facility and taproom, and the company's intellectual property are for sale. The business will accept offers on any or all of those assets through July 31.

"We are looking for a quick transition to minimize disruption for our front-of-house staff," the company said on its website. "The condensed timeline will let buyers hit the ground running with our existing sales staff."

Pivot Brewing launched in 2016 in Lexington and expanded to Louisville in February 2023. The Louisville taproom was built with the expectation that it would be supplied once a month from an off-site production facility.

"The Louisville taproom presents an opportunity for another brewery to assume the current lease and step into a fully functioning taproom in a high-traffic area on day 1," according to Pivot's website.

The Lexington taproom and production facility is located at 1400 Delaware Ave. The guest space inside is 1,800 square feet, and the property features a covered patio and a private room for 49 people. There is enough space on site to install a kitchen inside or to host food trucks outside.
