Hayes Cooper students return to Delta State on Monday, August 5
CLEVELAND, Miss. — The Hayes Cooper Center, a K-6 magnet school within the Cleveland School District, is preparing to begin the 2024-2025 school year on the campus of Delta State University. The Center’s campus in Merigold was extensively damaged by fire on April 11, and the school relocated to DSU to finish the academic year. The decision was made for Hayes Cooper to remain on campus for the upcoming year and preparations are underway to welcome students back to campus.

Carnival Run Is Fun Event For Entire Family
The longtime carnival run is a true community event. Sure, there is intense competition as pavement pounders jockey for a first place finish, but for many it is a Saturday morning stroll with friends and family.
