A Louisville man has been arrested after allegedly biting off part of his girlfriend’s lip.

Deputies responded to a call from Blount County Communications Center that a 48-year-old Jefferson City woman, bleeding from her face, had approached a business on Air Base Road asking for help.

When deputies arrived, they reported that the woman was “covered in blood” and holding a paper towel to her lips.

According to the report, she told deputies that Jeorge Antonio Padilla, 36, Mentor School Road, Louisville, had struck her multiple times with a closed fist and “ripped her lip off using his teeth.”

When deputies asked her to remove the paper towel, they reported they observed the “left portion of her lip missing.”

Padilla was arrested by Blount County Sheriff’s deputies and charged with domestic violence with aggravated assault, indecent exposure, evading arrest, resisting arrest, driving on a revoked license, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and driving under the influence. He was being held in lieu of bonds totaling $60,000 pending a 9 a.m. April 25 hearing in Blount County General Sessions Court.

The report states the woman told deputies that Padilla lived nearby and described his vehicle to deputies. Deputies searched the area and observed a vehicle matching the woman’s description driving slowly down Mentor School Road. After the car stopped, deputies gave the driver, who was reportedly later identified as Padilla, commands to exit the vehicle.

Deputies said that Padilla refused at first but then exited the vehicle and started to run into a residence, refusing commands to stop. According to the report, Padilla was “nude and acting erratic during this time.”

Deputies said they forced their way into the residence and told Padilla multiple times to “get on the ground,” but he allegedly refused. Deputies deployed a Taser, which made contact, but Padilla removed the probes.

The report states that Padilla allegedly attempted to strike deputies with an open hand and deputies deployed the Taser a second time. Padilla reportedly began to run deeper into the residence, and deputies reported they heard a door slam and observed the taser wires break. They also reported hearing glass breaking in the room Padilla was in.

Deputies entered the room, and the report stated that Padilla was “on the floor shaking erratically.” Deputies stated after a brief struggle, they were able to place Padilla under arrest.

AMR transported Padilla to Blount Memorial Hospital due to the Taser deployment and what deputies called “excited delirium.”

When deputies followed up with the woman, she told deputies that Padilla had been becoming more aggressive with her and had been using narcotics. The report states that she told officers Padilla had been arrested in Loudon County for aggravated assault and called her to bond him out.

She reported that when she picked him up, they stopped by a lake and smoked marijuana. She stated that afterward, Padilla became erratic. After telling Padilla she wanted to leave, she said Padilla pulled her by the hair and started hitting her in the head.

She alleged Padilla picked her up by the hair and demanded that she kiss him. When she did, the woman told deputies Padilla bit her lip with his teeth and ripped it off, then spit it at her while she was lying on the ground. At this point, the woman said she left to find help.

Officers reported that while at the hospital, Padilla allegedly told them, “I smoked weed and it made me crazy.”
