Colorado wildfire that burned nearly 10,000 acres was human caused
LOVELAND, Colo. (KJCT) - After burning almost 10,000 acres, the cause of the Alexander Wildfire has been confirmed. The fire was found to be caused by a human. The US Forest Service did not say if they thought the fire was started intentionally. Officials think that another fire south of Loveland that burned at the same time was also human caused.
Proposed water well drilling regulation in Colorado could double costs
Coloradans who need a water well dug may be paying double what it costs now if a potential technical regulation about drilling is approved, according to a drilling company. The Colorado Division of Water Resources and the State Engineer’s Office are seeking approval from the state Board of Examiners for a change in grouting regulations for well casings in water well construction. The board operates under the Division of Water Resources.

LL Flooring, a specialty flooring company formerly known as Lumber Liquidators, is holding closing sales at 94 retail locations across the U.S. after it filed Sunday for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Delaware.The company is currently in negotiations with multiple parties to sell its business, LL Flooring said in the statement. While operating under the Lumber Liquidators brand name, the company was in the spotlight after a "60 Minutes" report found some its flooring contained dangerous levels of formaldehyde. Colorado fire sits at more than 7,000 acres, but containment grows
The Bucktail Fire is now 67% contained after burning more than 7,000 acres.
