Medical Center of the Rockies was recognized as being high-performing in cardiac care, lung and prostate cancer surgery, back surgery, hip replacements and gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery, according to a news release from UCHealth.

Two other UCHealth hospitals also made U.S. News and World Report's top five rankings: UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora and UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs.

“Our exceptional patient outcomes stem from our team’s unwavering commitment to delivering the highest levels of care every single day," Medical Center of the Rockies President and CEO Kevin Unger said in the news release. "We are dedicated to serving our community and are honored that patients trust us with their medical needs.”

Rankings are based on 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions.
