Cushing homicide investigation continues; two men now in custody
July 17: Additional information confirming the identity of the man killed in Cushing has been provided by the Maine Dept. of Public Safety in another news release. “The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Kyle MacDougall, of Waldoboro. Driver summonsed after fiery crash during thunderstorm in Lyman
LYMAN, Maine — Police say a man from Lyman crashed in Lyman Tuesday night after trying to pass several vehicles along Alfred Road in the middle of a heavy thunderstorm. Police say James Rouse, 32, then lost control of his red BMW just before 9 p.m. near Old Ben Davis Road and went off the road before the car rolled over multiple times. The car came to rest on its roof in a ditch before catching fire.
