Don't go in the water. That's the advisory that many Illinois water places currently have with many being issued after recent water tests around the state. The Illinois Department of Public Health has a Beach Guard System that is almost constantly updated with alerts about high bacteria levels being detected. Oglesby Seeking Homeowners Interested In Housing Rehab Program

The city recently sent out surveys to some folks concerning a housing rehabilitation grant the city is seeking next year.
