CPD Seeks Assistance Locating Suspects and Vehicle in Holly’s Diner Shooting
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – On Tuesday, July 23, at approximately 11:22 p.m., Charlottesville police officers responded to Holly’s Diner at 1221 E Market St for a shooting that had just occurred. One person was struck by gunfire and is expected to recover from non-life-threatening injuries. CPD detectives have continued their investigation into this incident and are seeking to identify the persons of interest in this release.

Their idea for Angel Detection Solutions, a business venture that will produce a disposable cup that detects when a date-rape drug is added to a drink, was selected as the audience favorite from among 11 finalists. The students won $2,000.
