Raising Cane’s, a fast food chain specializing in chicken fingers, will open to the Lehigh Valley at 10 a.m. on Aug. 6 in Lower Macungie Township.

The eatery is located at 6240 Hamilton Blvd. in Lower Macungie Township and is one of 10 locations in Pennsylvania. General hours will be 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday-Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday-Saturday, according to a spokesperson.

The eatery will include indoor dining and double drive-thru service. All Raising Cane’s locations make the chicken fingers without heat lamps and are “cooked to order, because when it comes to fresh, delicious food, we never compromise,” a message on the website reads.

“Bird Specialists” at the eatery batter premium chicken by hand that’s marinated for 24 hours, according to the website. Cane’s Sauce, an award-winning sauce, is also a staple at the eatery that “only a few people know.”

Just before the Aug. 6 opening, guests will be able to enter their name into a raffle and 20 names will be randomly drawn out of a box at 9 a.m. The 20 selected will be offered a Free Cane’s for a Year deal, which is good for one free Box Combo meal three times per month. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m. that day.

The eatery may not be the only location in the Lehigh Valley for long. Hanover Township commissioners met last September to discuss opening a second Raising Cane’s in the future.
