Justin Procope (@1Procope) For many 15 year-olds, life can often feel like it is them vs. the world. This summer, for Westtown School’s rising sophomore sensation Jordyn Palmer, it actually was. The emerging star was one of twelve girls who celebrated a gold medal victory last Sunday over Canada,...
Non-Travelers Are Allowed To Go Beyond Security At These 5 US Airports
One of the jarring things about watching films that include airports pre-9/11 is that non-ticketed passengers could go to the gate. Yet, since September 11, 2001, not having guests past security has been the norm. However, there are a few select airports around the country that still allow non-ticketed passengers through TSA. It's possible at airports in Detroit, Orange County, Orlando, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.

Why Phillies won’t trade for an 'impact' player at the deadline
The MLB trade deadline is only days away on July 30 at 6:00 p.m. ET. There were some deals on Friday, including one involving the Philadelphia Phillies. The club solved its outfield platoon situation with Brandon Marsh, acquiring Austin Hays from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for reliever Seranthony Domínguez and reserve outfielder Cristian Pache.
Is Weston Wilson a viable outfield option or a temporary stopgap?
The Philadelphia Phillies have had a rough go of it recently. Now sporting a 3-7 record in their last 10 games dating back to the series before the All-Star break, this is a Phillies team whose offense is in quite a slump right now. When you combine that with the disastrous turn taken by key members of the bullpen, you arrive at a flat Phillies team that has started to lose winnable baseball games in a frustrating fashion.
Judge In PnB Rock's Murder Case Deems Alleged Teen Shooter Not Fit To Stand Trial
Fans are absolutely outraged over this decision. On July 23, 2024, the murder trial for the late PnB Rock began. The Philadelphia artist was fatally shot at a Roscoe's Chicken 'N Waffles in South Los Angeles, California on September 12, 2022. The belief is the killer is a 17-year-old male and that he was instructed by his father, Freddie Trone. According to previous news reports, Freddie was also the getaway driver and a fugitive at the time of the crime. Additionally, the alleged teenage murderer was recently done serving jail time. Finally, Shauntel Trone, Freddie's 38-year-old wife, was also an arrested suspect. But it seems her involvement is still up in the air.
What did the Phillies see in trade acquisition Austin Hays?
The Phillies and Orioles completed an intriguing trade Friday that saw Baltimore land Seranthony Dominguez and Cristian Pache in exchange for Austin Hays, which represented something of a lengthy pursuit for Phils president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski. The executive revealed an interesting tidbit to reporters (including The Athletic’s Matt Gelb and The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Scott Lauber) regarding the team's long-standing admiration of Hays.
