BOISE, Idaho — Neighbors are pushing back against a Boise Church's plan to build a housing unit for men struggling to make ends meet. "This is a dorm to help people with life skills, but at the same time, just because somebody has a history, or a background doesn't mean they will automatically be rejected," said Steven Neighbors, Mountain View Church of the Brethren administrative pastor said.
Life sentence issued for man in fatal stabbing near the Boise Airport
BOISE, Idaho — This story originally appear in the Idaho Press. An Idaho man has been sentenced to prison for stabbing another man to death last July. Dallas Brower, 28, was ordered to serve a life sentence for killing 24-year-old Justin Friesner, according to online court records. The sentence, handed down Sept. 26, stipulates that Brower will be eligible for parole after serving 25 years. Brower pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in May.
