More than 120 teams have signed up to play in the Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament in the Crystal City this weekend. Teams will begin playing 3-on-3 games at 8 a.m. Saturday and the tournament will continue through Sunday, said Emmie Agee, Gaffer District Marketing Manager. Two charged after traffic stop with illegal gun possession
MAMAKATING – Two people have been arrested following a traffic stop on Route 17 west in the Town of Mamakating on weapons possession charges. State Police announced on Wednesday that minutes before 5 a.m. on July 1, they stopped a vehicle occupied by two men and with the aid of a K-9 unit, located an illegally loaded Taurus G3C .9 mm semi-automatic handgun in the glovebox.
