Lowville Academy summer school reopens today

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – After last week’s flooding Lowville Academy’s summer school, Super Stage and Hand-in-Hand Daycare programs will be open.

However, there will be a few changes made to deal with some of the flooding the school suffered.

All elementary and middle school students will enter through the middle school and will be shown to their classrooms. High school students can continue to enter via the high school, but parking will not be available.

The district has reassured the public that the air quality is safe and no contaminants have spread. District officials have also said there will be areas blocked off while work is being done on the building.

Anyone with questions is asked to contact teachers first and then the principal of the summer school via the regular chain of command.
