LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – The Lewis County Fair in Lowville has called off events for the day due to flash flooding.

The announcement was made just after 3:30 p.m. after severe weather hit the area. The fair kicked off today after dealing with flooding conditions last week. Activities at the Jefferson County Fair on Wednesday, July 10 were called off due to torrential rains and storms.
