    Multiple agencies in Lewis County to help those affected by flooding

    LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – A number of agencies will be in Lewis County today to help anyone affected by the recent torrential rains.

    These agencies will be at the Lewis County Department of Social Services building located at 5274 Outer Stowe Street in Lowville. The services will be available from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. today.

    Updated road closure list in Lewis County

    The DSS building is on the Lowville loop on the Lewis County Transportation line.

    Here are the agencies that will be available to assist:

    • American Red Cross
    • Lewis County DSS (info on food and housing assistance; help filing damage reports)
    • Lowville Food Pantry
    • Peter Davis Restoration
    • United Methodist Church
    • United Way

    Clean-up and hygiene kits will be available for pickup. Water and snacks will also be available. For more information, call 315-376-5400.
