Texas Tech sports is back, and that means taking a trip to Lubbock to cheer on the Red Raiders . Whether you were born and raised in the Hub City or are a first-time visitor, we have you covered on where to stay.

But these aren't any ordinary hotels or places to stay at. These hotels, bed and breakfasts, and Airbnbs offer visitors a unique experience to elevate their stay in the 806.

    The Bruno Steel House

Located just outside of Lubbock in Ransom Canyon, individuals can stay in this steel house by the lake.

Listed on Airbnb, the house is described as a "once in a lifetime opportunity to spend the night inside a sculpture." It features three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms — accommodating eight guests.

    Visit airbnb.com for more information.

    Woodrow House

Roll out of bed and walk onto the Texas Tech University campus. Located at 2629 19th St., this bed and breakfast is mere feet from the campus and offers 10 rooms to stay in — each decorated with a different theme.

However, there is a reason that it made it onto this list. Woodrow House offers guests the opportunity to sleep in a train caboose car. The car features a kitchenette, a private shower and bath, a couch bed and a queen-size bed.

Now, people have the opportunity to stay in a house that can accommodate nine guests. Visit airbnb.com for more information.
