Police investigating single-vehicle crash resulting in two fatalities and two injuries
LUBBOCK, Texas — A single-vehicle crash on US 84 near Posey resulted in two fatalities and two injuries, authorities reported. The accident occurred on June 25, 2024, at approximately 3:43 PM in Lubbock County. The vehicle involved was a 2008 Nissan Altima driven by 33-year-old Leanna Salazar, of Slaton, Texas. Salazar, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the press release.
