    Lubbock TAG arrests three of Lubbock’s top 10 most wanted gang members

    LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Anti-Gang Center (TAG) in Lubbock said in a press release on Friday that TAG officers arrested three of Lubbock’s top 10 most wanted gang members this week.

    On Thursday, Michael Delarosa, Jr., 43, was arrested in the 1900 block of 44th Street and Matthew Volanos, 41, in the 2400 block of Quinton Street. Romeo Thomas, 26, was arrested in the 5400 block of 15th Street on Friday. Officers seized one firearm and 40 grams of methamphetamine from Thomas, according to TAG.

    Delarosa was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and an existing parole violation. Volanos was charged with Dangerous Drugs, Resisting Arrest and an existing parole violation. Thomas was charged with Fraudulent Possession Of Identifying Information, Possession of Firearm by Felon and Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance in
    Penalty Group 1/1B (4-200 grams).

    As of Friday evening, the three are being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center.
