Lubbock ranked in picky eating report

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock was ranked number eight in the top ten cities in the U.S. with the pickiest eaters, according to the Frozen Pizza Consumer Report.

The study found that in Lubbock there were 1,072 Google searches related to picky eaters per 100,000 residents.

Lubbock was the highest-rating Texas city on the list, following Irving at number 16, Plano at 22 and Laredo at 26.

According to the report, 50% of Americans consider themselves to be a picky eater. 32% of people have declined dinner invitations due to their picky eating habits.

Most picky eaters said their most disliked foods were vegetables and seafood, 39% said meat and 34% said spices or seasonings.
