LUBBOCK, Texas — Summer is in full swing, so it’s time to chill by the pool and enjoy a cocktail, specifically a Chilton. The Chilton is a cocktail born here in the Hub City by Dr. Chilton at the Lubbock Country Club.
Here’s a compiled list of the best places to get a Chilton, according to KAMC viewers.
Bodine’s Cocktail Parlor is located at 1717 Crickets Avenue and mixes up new classics and allows customers a well-made cocktail.
Caprock Cafe is based right here in Lubbock and is owned by the same people who operate Orlando’s. Caprock has two locations: one at 5217 82nd Street and the other at 3405 34th Street.
Cook’s Garage is a bar and concert venue located at 11002 US-87. The Lubbock-staple has been the venue for artists such as Steve Aoki, Willie Nelson and Koe Wetzel.

The Lubbock Country Club is the birthplace of the notorious cocktail and is located at 3400 Mesa Road.
