Rock band Heart announced on Tuesday the postponement of its October performance at the Hub City with a tentative new date in 2025.

Due to the band's lead singer Ann Wilson's recent health concerns, they canceled all remaining shows on its Royal Flush Tour and Journey/Def Leppard Stadium Tour.

In a statement, Wilson said during an operation, something cancerous was found.

"The operation was successful and I'm feeling great but my doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventive chemotherapy and I've decided to do it," reads the statement. "And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover."

The band plans to return in 2025, and they encourage current ticket holders to hold on to their tickets, as they will be honored for rescheduled dates.

Heart was expected to play in Lubbock at United Supermarkets Arena on Oct. 2. For more information, visit www.heart-music.com.
