LUBBOCK, Texas — July marks National Hot Dog Month and the Hub City is home to many great hot dog spots. EverythingLubbock.com created a list of spots where you can enjoy a hot dog.
Fireworks, music and fun: South Plains guide to 4th of July events Flippers Tavern – Flippers serves a variety of “O.G” and “special” franks on its menu. Vegan and gluten-free options are available for a $1 charge. The restaurant is located at 1406 Avenue Q.
Five Guys – The chain offers hot dogs, cheese dogs, bacon dogs and bacon cheese dogs. Five Guys has three locations in Lubbock at 114th Street, 19th Street and Marsha Sharp Freeway.
Freddy’s – Freddy’s menu offers an all-beef hot dog and a chili cheese dog made with Vienna Beef. Lubbock has two Freddy’s locations, one at Milwaukee Avenue and another on 19th Street.
Blue Sky – The restaurant serves two kinds of hot dogs with mustard and onion. There are two Lubbock locations at 4th Street and 98th Street.
Tommy’s Famous Burgers – The burger joint offers a variety of hot dogs, including foot-long franks. The restaurant is located at 117 University Avenue.
Wienerschnitzel – The restaurant, known for its hot dogs, has several locations in Lubbock.
