We continue to take a look at the Texas Tech football team's opponents for the 2024 season with a dive into the best receivers the Red Raiders will see.

The Red Raider secondary will be put to the test against some of the best receivers in the country, but who should fans know about the most?

Brennan Presley and Rashod Owens, Oklahoma State

Are you sensing a theme yet? The Cowboys are loaded with offensive weapons this season and two of the undervalued ones come in receivers Brennan Presley and Rashod Owens. Two of the top threats in the country happen to be on the same team. Presley accounted for 101 catches, 991 yards and six TDs, while Owens came up with 63 balls for 895 yards and five scores in 2023.

    Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona

Game info: Oct. 5 at Tucson

Arizona had two players catch 90 passes last season and one of them is returning this season. Tetairoa McMillan totaled 1,402 yards and 10 TDs being a primary target for quarterback Noah Fifita. McMillan got lost in a sea of skilled receivers in the Pac-12 last year, but should be on everyone's radar in the Big 12.

    Jayden Higgins, Iowa State

Game info: Nov. 2 at Ames

Offensive newcomer of the year in the Big 12 last season, Jayden Higgins put up career marks in his first season in Ames. The 6-foot-4 receiver had 53 catches for 983 yards and six touchdowns, nearly matching his two-year totals at Eastern Kentucky.

    Travis Hunter, Colorado

Game info: Nov. 9 in Lubbock

A two-way star, who is probably a bit better at cornerback, Travis Hunter was also one of the most reliable receivers in the country. In just nine games last season, Hunter accounted for 721 yards and five TDs on 57 catches.
