Lubbock escape room announces closure in July

LUBBOCK, Texas — Lubbock Escapes, an escape game room located at 3025 34th Street, announced its closure on social media.

According to the post, effective as of July 14 “Lubbock Escapes has elected to close our escape room.”

The closure comes after much consideration from the game room.

“We share wonderful memories with our escape room community including birthday and anniversary celebrations, engagement announcement, and office team building…” said the post.

Lubbock Escapes said its priorities have changed for many reasons.

“We now spend our free time watching our littles play college and high school volleyball, 2 others just recently placed 1st and 4th in the 4A New Mexico State tennis tournament, and we welcomed another future escapee 18 months ago,” the post from Lubbock Escapes expressed.

The escape room thanked every customer that has visited and valued each experience.
