    Police provide update after North Lubbock motorcycle crash on Saturday morning

    LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department provided an update after a Saturday morning motorcycle crash at East Brown Street and North Spruce Avenue.

    The following is a press release from the Lubbock Police Department:

    (LUBBOCK, TX) – The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating a motorcycle crash in east Lubbock that left two people with serious injuries.

    Lubbock Police Officers were called to the 1900 block of east Brown Street at 7:03 a.m. on July 20th, following a report of a crash involving a motorcycle.

    Through the initial course of the investigation, it appears, the motorcycle, driven by 26-year-old Robert Rios was traveling west in the 1900 block of east Brown St. when the motorcycle struck a curb before traveling off the road and crashing into a parked car. Both Rios and the passenger, 18-year-old Gabriella Constancio, were transported to University Medical Center via ambulance with serious injuries.

    No other injuries were reported and the crash remains under investigation.
