    Worker hospitalized after falling on roof of Lubbock school on Tuesday

    LUBBOCK, Texas — A worker was hospitalized after falling about 10 to 15 feet from a ladder onto a lower level of the roof of Monterey High School on Tuesday morning, according to information from Lubbock Fire Rescue.

    LFR said crews were called to the 3700 block of 47th Street just after 8:15 a.m. to assist EMS.

    According to officials, a worker was doing maintenance on the building, and fell from the ladder onto a lower portion of the roof. LFR said due to the patient being injured and stuck, a ladder truck was called to the scene.

    LFR said the patient was taken to University Medical Center by EMS with unknown injuries.
