Lucas County students graduate from IHCC
OTTUMWA -- Indian Hills Community College has released the names of the 314 students who completed their graduation requirements at the end of the 2024 Spring Term. This is a list of Lucas County students who received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree, Associate of Science (AS) degree, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, Diploma (DIP), or Certificate (CER) from IHCC .

Flag Retirement ceremony held at Veterans Memorial Park
The Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony was held on a hot night at the Lucas County Veterans Memorial Park in Chariton on Flag Day Friday, June 14. Members of Lucas County Boy Scout Troop 149 performed the flag retirement at the ceremony. Due to the heat, the ceremony was limited to about 20 minutes.
