SSR Motorsports to Unveil 2025 Pit Bike and Dirt Bike Model Line at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days
SSR Motorsports announced it will debut its highly anticipated 2025 pit bike line at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD), July 24 -26, 2024, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. In addition, SSR Motorsports will be the title sponsor of the first ever AMA National Pit Bike races held in conjunction with VMD.

MOUNT VERNON — Pigs, cows, horses and chickens were on display at the Limitless Livestock show created by Ansley Daubenmier. Daubenmier, an upcoming Mount Vernon High School senior, has been showing animals at the Knox County Fair for over a decade. She serves as president of Mount Vernon’s FFA chapter and the Smoking and Spurs 4-H club.

Jury selected as murder trial in missing man case gets under way
Prosecutors and a defense lawyer for a man charged with the death of his father chose a jury of five women and nine men Thursday, with trial testimony scheduled to begin Friday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. Timothy Darrow, 39, of the 4100 block of Peak Street is charged with two alternative murder counts stemming from the July 27, 2017, disappearance and presumed death of Alvin Darrow, 63, from the 300 block of Majestic Drive in North Toledo.
