However, after losing possession of it due to financial reasons they were allowed to stay in Room 16 by new owners if they managed it. Soon after their husband's sudden disappearance, Abbey was also nowhere to be found resulting in people speculating that her ghost roaming the halls of Vendome looked for him still today accountable for all the mysterious goings-on over the past years.
