Experience an extraordinary stay at one of Finland's top Instagram-worthy locations, Hotel Katajanokka in Helsinki. During my stay, I lodged in a "cell" where the ministers once stayed. I had a lovely view of the courtyard.

On the third floor, there is a tunnel that goes through the wall from the men's cell block. It leads to women's cell No.13 on the same floor. Although it may seem like it was built for prisoners to escape, they actually spent two weeks constructing it.

Types of Rooms

Classic Queen

Although the rooms are 17m2 in size, they are designed to be compact, practical, and quiet. The smart layout and generous amenities will provide you with sufficient space to work, play, or sleep peacefully. We have 37 Classic Queen rooms for you to choose from. Have a good night's sleep!

Classic Twin

The Classic Twin room offers two beds that are each 100 cm wide, and the entire room is at least 20 m2 in size. This spacious room provides plenty of room for work, play, or relaxation.

Superior King, Twin, and Family

When going on a space-themed adventure or traveling with companions, opt for the Superior room type. The Superior King room has a bed that measures 200 cm in width, while the Superior Twin has two beds that measure 100 cm in width each. The Superior Family room has a combination of a 200 cm bed and a foldable bed sofa that's good for one adult or two children.

The room is spacious, measuring at least 25 square meters, and boasts luxurious furnishings. Additionally, it offers high-speed internet and extravagant bath amenities, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
