Area Man Injured in One-Vehicle Crash in Redbank Township
REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — State police in Clarion say a Kittanning man was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Route 28 in Redbank Township. According to PSP Clarion, the crash occurred at 8:44 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, on Route 28 just north of the Carriage Road intersection in Redbank Township, Clarion County.
PSP REPORTS: VEHICLE ACCIDENT, THEFT OF TOOLS
State police have released information on a vehicle crash that happened on July 16th in Center Township. Police say 74-year-old Bruce Heise of Blairsville was driving south on Route 119 near the intersection with Beech Street, and the red light, colliding with a van driven by 70-year-old Cynthia Hatcher of Indiana as it was pulling out into the intersection from Beech Street as that light had turned green. Hatcher was not hurt, but Heise had suspected minor injuries and was taken to IRMC for treatment.

Jeannette officers file suit seeking overtime payments for time spent feeding, caring for police dogs
Jeannette’s two police dog handlers claim in a federal lawsuit that the city violated labor laws by not paying them an overtime rate for time spent caring for their canines. Sgt. Jim Phillips and Officer Matthew Painter said in the filing that they spend at least 30 to 60 minutes, often more, of uncompensated time daily taking care of the animals. Painter has a Dutch shepherd named Kilo and Phillips works with a Belgian malinois named Diesel.
