St. Charles Parish sheriff's deputies are seeking clues about a man whose body was found in the Mississippi River under the Luling Bridge.

Authorities say they found the man's body around 7 p.m. Tuesday after a tugboat captain called them. Deputies pulled the body from the river near the intersection of River Road and Sugarhouse Road.

Detectives say the saw no signs of trauma, of foul play, or of a struggle when they examined the man's body.

Deputies say they man had no identification on him. Investigators estimate that the man is between 40- and 45-years-old, six feet tall, and between 310 and 350 pounds. He's described as a white man with short dark hair and a full beard.

If you know who this man is, call the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office at 985-783-1135.
