Riverside skatepark - skate it, pick up your trash, leave when the police show

Firstly, I am super grateful to the city for this new park - it is world class, built by my favorite construction team, and the design is a work of art. But why are they torturing us? Probably because they tied the project to the "Art walk" or whatever, some posh ass BS that has nothing to do with us. They want it to be a big reveal, a grand opening - **this never works with skateparks, we will always sneak in**. I was skating the thing with the construction team ffs.... I just checked my camera roll, IVE BEEN SKATING THE RIVERSIDE SKATEPARK SINCE JANUARY 13th. So, just skate it, just go. The more people breaking in hopefully puts pressure on them to open it If you want a decently long sesh, try to go when other people won't be there (9 am to noon). Usually I get a few hours in before they show up. The first time the police came, I spoke with the officer, "it's a felony" he told me. But those guys do not want to arrest you, I promise. Just leave when they show up, and pick up your trash on the way out. Ironically it was easier to skate when it was under construction...
