State auditor reviewing Mass. emergency shelter system spending
State Auditor Diana DiZoglio is in the midst of an audit of the state’s emergency shelter system, according to a report from WBUR. DiZoglio, the state’s top watchdog, told the radio station she had begun a review of the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities in November. As part of that review, she is auditing spending on the shelter system, which has been stretching its capacity for months.
