Minnesota Man Vanished in River After Rescuing His Children
Elk River, MN (KROC-AM News) - A search effort continues this afternoon along the Mississippi River on the northwestern edge of the Twin Cities. The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says the search was launched late Friday morning after deputies responded to a section of the river in Elk River after receiving reports that a man had gone underwater and failed to resurface. The 911 call came in around 11:45 AM.

First Urgent Care Behavioral Health Services Opens in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — The first Urgent Care Behavioral Health Services in the Northland opened its doors on Friday. The center is a collaboration between the Human Development Center, the Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment, Children’s Dental Services and St. Louis County. Over 2 million dollars from the ARPA was used after a unanimous vote took place through St. Louis County to refurbish the building. It is a part of the ongoing mission to support mental health and recovery in our community. The building is made to be a welcoming and safe place.
