On Oct. 1, a Florida law banning counties and municipalities from allowing people to regularly sleep or camp on public property will take effect. BROOKSVILLE: Parts of Hernando County Hit by Severe Weather
BROOKSVILLE, FLa- Tuesday evening storms brought chaos to Northeast Hernando County, causing power outages, downed trees, and downed electrical wires. Firefighters were kept busy responding to numerous storm-related calls, including one involving a fallen tree that damaged a vehicle and blocked roadways. Thankfully, no injuries were reported as a result of the storm. The extent of the damage and the number of residents affected by the power outages remain unclear at this time.
