BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - A driver crashed their car through a mobile home in Brooksville early Tuesday morning, according to authorities. According to Hernando County Fire Rescue, they responded to a car crash into a mobile home in the 14000 block of Brookridge Boulevard in Brooksville in ‘the early morning hours’ of Tuesday.

HERNANDO: Spring Hill Man Killed in Head-On Collision
BROOKSVILLE, FLa. A head-on collision Monday morning on Fort Dade Avenue claimed the life of a 20-year-old Spring Hill man. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that shortly before 8:00 am, a Dodge Dakota driven by the Spring Hill man was traveling eastbound on Fort Dade Avenue. A Ford F150, driven by a 48-year-old Brooksville man, was traveling westbound. Just east of a private driveway at 18092 Fort Dade Avenue, the Dodge Dakota crossed the centerline for unknown reasons and collided nearly head-on with the Ford F150.

Northdale YMCA to add licensed preschool program
The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA announced July 11 that its Bob Sierra Family YMCA, 4029 Northdale Blvd., Tampa, will offer its Licensed Preschool Program beginning in August. The program, geared at 2- to 4-year-olds, will offer comprehensive programming dedicated to promoting the social, emotional and physical well-being of children and be led by certified and experienced childcare staff to ensure the highest quality of care and education with an evidence-based curriculum, according to the YMCA.
