SPRING HILL, Fla. — Hernando County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who allegedly cut a person's face after accusing him of stealing his money and drugs. Law enforcement and fire rescue responded to calls of an injured person at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday when a caller said a man was knocking on the door, asking for help. The caller described the man as having a "really bad gash" on his face, according to a news release.
USF receives a record $168 million in donations
July 23, 2024 - University of South Florida officials announced Tuesday that the school set new fundraising records for the third consecutive year with over $168 million in philanthropic support from more than 54,000 donors in the fiscal year that ended June 30. The number of donors increased by 44% over the previous fiscal year. President Rhea Law credited USF’s invitation to join the prestigious Association of American Universities for propelling fundraising efforts.
