CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Fla. - A suspected car thief has been arrested in Pasco County thanks to a K-9 from the sheriff’s office. Deputies say when they tried to pull over a suspect they believe stole a vehicle from Crystal Springs early Tuesday morning, he refused to stop and sped away.

Missing swimmer found dead near Madeira Beach
MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. — A swimmer who disappeared Monday evening in the Gulf of Mexico has been found dead, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said. According to deputies, the search for the swimmer began after authorities got reports of a man in distress in the water off John's Pass.
