Festival at the Well pageant held

The annual Miss Festival at the Well pageant, held May 11 inside the Crenshaw Christian Academy (CCA) auditorium, showcased the grace and charm of contestants across six age groups: Baby Miss (ages 0-1), Toddler Miss (ages 2-4), Little Miss (ages 5-7), Junior Miss (ages 8-11), Teen Miss (ages 12-15) and Miss Festival at the Well (ages 16-19). Among the highlights was the crowning of Miss Spirit of Glenwood, awarded to Brooklyn Gavin Marie Lester for her outstanding fundraising efforts for the Flowing Well Foundation. Sponsored by The Carriage House, the pageant and the forthcoming festival slated for May 18 are dedicated to supporting the local community. All profits are directed towards funding college scholarships for local deserving high school seniors. This year’s scholarship recipients will be announced and honored during this Saturday’s upcoming Festival at the Well.
