Augie granted conference membership a year ahead of schedule
SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Augustana University’s hockey team is getting a one-year jump on conference membership. Central Collegiate Hockey Association Commissioner Don Lucia says Augie’s support of its hockey program is impressive, and allowing them to compete in the regular season and conference championship is a reward for that commitment. The Vikings have been granted full conference membership starting in the 2024-25 season.

Strange Sun Country Flight is Now in Danger of Going Extinct
It was one of the shortest-- and cheapest-- flights out of Minnesota that Sun Country Airlines ever offered. But it might be soon a thing of the past. It was nearly two years ago that Sun Country Airlines, Minnesota's hometown airline, announced that it was adding service from the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (EAU). Those flights ran a whopping 21 minutes, a distance of just 85 miles, and were part of a $6.5 million annual grant meant to improve travel in rural America.

SF Ambush wins 3rd Presidents Cup Soccer title for Dakota Alliance

Yankton and SF West get Legion Baseball doubleheader sweeps
YANKTON and SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -It was a busy night for Legion Baseball Tuesday night in both Yankton and Sioux Falls. Yankton won a pair of thrilling 6-5 games over Renner as two of South Dakota’s best clashed. Easton Feser smashed a solo HR in game one and Owen Wishon knocked in Matthew Sheldon with the tying run in the 5th inning and the game-winner in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the 7th for a 6-5 win. The second game ended with the same score on a bases-leaded walk.
