LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) -A hot dry airmass is in control of Texas weather. Dry air aloft will stir in, bringing low afternoon humidity and very hot temperatures during Wednesday afternoon. We will be nearly as hot on Thursday. The hottest air will edge away further to the north beginning Friday. This will allow for more of a gulf influence with more cumulus clouds in our skies and temperatures not as far above 100, especially beginning with the weekend. A slight chance of scattered showers with the more moist air early next week.
