Architect Shares More Information About Town Hall Renovation with Township Committee
MILLBURN, NJ – Architect Eli Goldstein of The Goldstein Partnership provided a second presentation to the township committee about proposed renovations to town hall. Hoboken City Council to vote on compromise rent control ordinance to avoid referendum
Councilmembers and landlords who’ve been eager to avoid a public referendum on changing Hoboken’s rent control laws have agreed on a compromise to fulfill that goal. The compromise ordinance, finalized Tuesday, will “maintain existing tenant protections and address concerns raised by (landlords)” and avoid “a potentially less protective initiative referendum.”

N.J. man sentenced to prison in 114 mph fatal Parkway crash
A man has been sentenced to state prison in a 114 mph crash on the Garden State Parkway that took the life of another driver. Rolando Godwin, 47, of Newark, received a 12-year sentence on Friday, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. He pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter earlier this year.
