Few showers possible Sunday, daily chances for showers and storms next week
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - High pressure in place over the Ohio River Valley will begin to drift away to our north tonight and into Sunday. The area of low pressure that has brought showers and storms to the southeastern United States, for the last several days, will begin to drift northward on Sunday. Sunday will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies with the chance for an isolated shower or even a thunderstorm, primarily in the afternoon and evening. However, I do think most locations will remain dry. Highs on Sunday will reach the mid-80s with winds out of the north between 3-5 mph. The slight chance for isolated showers and storms will persist into Sunday evening. Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s.
