The People Speak
I recently (April 22-23, 2024) returned from a trip to Washington D.C. on an Honor Flight. It was the thirteenth trip that was sponsored by the Southern Lyon County U.S.D. 252 Student Honor Flight Program. I cannot fathom the hours of planning and coordination it took to accomplish this trip. The coordinators did an absolutely marvelous job of it. The entire trip was incredible. It would be difficult to find a better arranged, or a more thoughtful tour of the memorials and museums of our Capital. The timely posting of pictures to Facebook, so that our families and friends could follow along with our journey, was greatly appreciated and exceptionally thoughtful.
