On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, around 5:43 p.m., Deputy David Carroll was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision at the I-24 off-ramp in Kuttawa. His investigation revealed a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Beau H. Breedlove (21) of Benton was stopped in traffic behind a 2024 Ram pickup truck, driven by Henry E. Little (52) of Dyersburg, TN. Breedlove failed to see the Little vehicle stop in front of him as traffic began moving, and collided in a rear-end manner. No injuries were reported in the collision.

Eddyville man dies in fatal accident in Lyon County July 8th
LYON COUNTY, KY (WEVV) — An Eddyville, KY man passed away from injuries sustained in a car crash along Interstate 64 on July 8th. Kentucky State Police said 54-year-old Brent Burban was driving his car eastbound before 5 P.M. near the 42 mile marker in Lyon County. During the investigation, troopers discovered that Burban's car crossed the median into the westbound lanes, colliding with another car. Burban was pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver of the other car suffered no injuries.

Eddyville Man Killed in Wreck on I-24 in Lyon County
An Eddyville man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 24 in Lyon County Monday afternoon. According to state police, a preliminary investigation revealed that 54-year old Brent Burban was traveling eastbound on I-24 when, for reasons still under investigation, his vehicle crossed the median into the westbound lanes near the 42 mile-marker and collided with a van driven by 28-year old Evan Ralph of Ellicott City, Maryland.

Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision in Lyon County. According to a news release, the crash happened just after 5 p.m. on Monday near the 42-mile marker of Interstate 24 in Lyon County when a vehicle operated by 54-year-old Brent Burban of Eddyville that was heading eastbound crossed the median and into the westbound lanes for an unknown reason.
