Wichita man found guilty in cat torture case faces 13 years in prison
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Wichita man convicted in an animal cruelty case in which severe injuries led to the deaths of several cats, faces more than a decade in prison. The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office said the sentencing against 31-year-old Logan Cavender follows a court appearance in May in which he entered a no-contest plea to 10 counts of felony cruelty to animals, two counts of misdemeanor stalking and one count of misdemeanor breach of privacy.
