Sunday, April 16, is the last day to shop this year’s Friends of the LSU Libraries Book Bazaar. Beginning at 9:00 AM sharp, patrons can get a box at the door (limit 2), fill it with their selection of remaining books, and pay only $5 for the entire box. Excluded are collector’s items which will be on sale for 1/2 price.

Categories include Art, Architecture, Biography (paper & hardback), Children, Young Adult, Civil War, Coffee Table, Cookbooks, Louisiana/Southern/Regional Cookbooks, Fiction (paper & hardback), Foreign Language, Gardening, Genealogy, Hidden Treasures, History (paper & hardback), Hobbies, Large Print, Law, Literature (paper & hardback), Louisiana, LSU Press, Graphic Novels, Manga, Medicine, Mystery (paper & hardback), Native American, Nature/Science, New Age, Religion, World Religions, Nonfiction, Poetry, Performing Arts, Reader’s Digest, Reference, Science Fiction, South, Book Sets, Supernatural, Texts, Trade Fiction, True Crime, Vintage, and West.

This is your chance to find out-of-print and rare books that are difficult, if not impossible, to find anywhere else. Stock your home or work library or purchase popular or unique books as gifts for others, or for yourself.

Boxes will be provided at the sale, and shoppers have the option of filling a box, taking it to their automobile to unload, and bringing it back inside for another $5 fill-up. Hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the John M. Parker Agricultural Coliseum on the LSU campus. There are signs on the street to direct traffic to the location and parking is free.

All proceeds benefit the LSU libraries.
