    Festivals Happening this Weekend in Louisiana : June 22 through June 25

    Watermelon, Juneteenth, and Pride are celebrated this weekend.

    Beauregard Watermelon Festival - DeRidder - June 22, 23 & 24

    506 West Drive

    Three days of watermelon fun at the Beauregard Parish Watermelon Festival include a watermelon eating contest, a watermelon seed spitting contest, watermelon games, carnival rides, music, food, a canning contest, a cornhole tournament, craft displays, an antique tractor show, and more.

    Festival hours are:

    • Thursday, June 22 -- 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
    • Friday, June 23 -- 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM
    • Saturday, June 24 -- 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM

    General admission is $5; Free for children 3 years old and under and Military with ID. Free admission on Friday, June 23 from from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM for the annual "Cutting of the Melons."

    Mansfield Juneteenth Celebration - Mansfield - June 23 & 24

    101 Texas Street

    Presented by the Mansfield Civic Group, the Mansfield Juneteenth Celebration features Hip Hop, Zydeco, Blues, and Gospel music on the Courthouse Square in downtown Mansfield. Admission is charged, but parking is free. There will be children's activities and food vendors present.

    3rd Annual Pride Picnic and Family Day - Houma - June 24

    114 Tourist Drive

    Food, games, animal adoptions, gator petting, and much more await LGBTQ families and friends at the Annual Pride Picnic and Family Day in Houma. Hours are 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Houma Visitor Center.

    NELA Pride Family Day - Monroe - June 24

    1405 Bernstein Park Road

    North East Louisiana Pride present the first Family Pride Day on Saturday, June 24, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo Pavilion. There will be LGBTQIA+ resource booths, kid's activities, and live music with DJ Trenton and Chelsea King. Local artists and crafters will offer original art, woodwork, tannery, jewelry, crystals, soaps, skincare, and pet treats. Food trucks, baked goods, a lemonade stand, a smoothie bar, and free hugs will also be available.

    No One thing about war notes is just ever mentioned Billy Barnes Washington pairs the best I've ever tasted so far they're not washing your parish territories. It's not good enough most millions come from Florida California Mexico. Some places in Mississippi dayguard most of they got great mothers too but most of the other places. They're watermelon taste like white sponges get Washington pack.
