These are the results, in no particular order, of the top 5 Baton Rouge restaurants preferred for eating birthday meals. (Names of individuals have been withheld to protect innocent diners).
1. Juban's
3739 Perkins Road
High on the list for birthday fine dining, Juban's is a crowd-pleaser. A Baton Rouge institution, the restaurant is open for lunch seven days a week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
Those who choose Juban's for their birthday lunches like the Hallelujah Crab, fried soft-shell crab with seafood stuffing in a Creolaise sauce, and the Lobster Rissotto, a broiled lobster with lobster and spinach risotto, lemon, buerre blanc, and caper relish.
2. Elsie's Plate & Pie

If you've been wondering about Elsie's Plate & Pie, do yourself a favor and have lunch there. The food is great, and the pies are delicious. You can get both savory and sweet pies at Elsie's, and all are outstanding.
Lunch favorites include the Seafood Pot Pie, shrimp, crawfish, and crab in a roasted red pepper cream sauce baked in a flaky crust, and the Louisiana Poulet Pot Pie, smoked chicken and roasted peppers in a tasso cream sauce baked in a flaky crust. Serving Mexican cuisine with a Louisiana flair, Mestizo offers delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to unique Mexican dishes, they also have keto, vegetarian, and gluten-free menus.

In business for over 20 years, Parrain's Seafood Restaurant serves fresh, high-quality seafood in a rustic setting. In fact, they got the highest number of votes for a birthday lunch.
One birthday diner raved about the grilled and raw oysters at Parrain's. Another said that every single thing on the menu is good. Entree favorites include the Catfish Perdu, fried catfish filets topped with crawfish etouffee and served over rice, the Pontchartrain, paneed fresh fish filet topped with crabmeat and caper hollandaise, and the Whole Shebang seafood platter.

Don't go to Parrains....that food at good...always crowded and parking terrible....they break into cars over there too
